Imagine that a chip implant in your head can cause your thoughts to communicate with prostheses in your body. Sure, this sounds like a total utopia, but it's not. Robin Augustine, associate professor of medical technology, is currently coordinating the European FET OPEN Project B-CRATOS where the first steps are being taken to make this a reality - to start the era of cyborgs.
